Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide. In Italy it affects more than a million people, half of whom do not know they have it: an early diagnosis makes the difference between keeping one's sight and losing it.
Since 2011 we have been working to make prevention accessible to everyone: through screening days across the country, reliable medical information, support for patients and scientific collaborations with leading Italian and European ophthalmology institutions.
A.N.P.I.G. is run by volunteers. Your donation funds screening days, patient information and support for people living with glaucoma and their families.
