The colour vision plates
Self-assessment for information only: it is not a screening, an examination or a medical opinion, it does not constitute a diagnosis and it does not replace an eye examination. A.N.P.I.G. is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the results.
Six Ishihara plates (the first is a practice one): each hides a number. Choose the one you see among the three options offered; if you cannot see any, say so: that is an answer that counts.
- Use both eyes: congenital colour deficiencies are symmetrical.
- Hold the screen at about arm's length, with the brightness at maximum.
- Turn off blue light filters or night mode: they alter the colours of the plates.
- Wear the glasses you normally use.
Before you begin
- This is a self-assessment for information only: it is not a consultation, a screening, an examination or a medical device, and it does not provide a diagnosis.
- The result depends on your screen, the light and the distance, and it may be inaccurate, even when it looks normal.
- Your answers stay on this device: we do not receive them and we do not store them.
- For any problem with your eyesight, or if a result worries you, see your eye doctor. A.N.P.I.G. is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the results.
